"What a delightful little hide away. The atmosphere is charmingly rustic and the owner is very friendly and attentive. I had the fried shrimp, baked potato and dinner salad. My husband had the hamburger steak with gravy and sauteed onions. It also came with the potato and dinner salad. Everything but the salads was delicious. The salads weren't anything special. They don't have a bar but a limited selection of beer and wine is available for the asking. It's important to note that it's cash or check only."

"I think this is my favorite restaurant. We came for the first time for our 5th anniversary. It was absolutely perfect. Mister Glenn is cool, friendly, and been running the place for 32 years... they know what they are doing. Everyone was extremely friendly, and the atmosphere and food were wonderful. Thank yall so much"

"Very nice hidden restaurant, but the prices are a bit higher and they only take cash/check. It can take a while to get the food, but it's pretty good. Make sure to get there early in order to get a table as the wait for a table can get lengthy."

"Great place for all things southern fried. I love the drive. It's 30 minutes from Dothan, out in the middle of nowhere, and gives the family time to hangout without being so far away the kids start asking are we there yet. Great service. Just small so be prepared to wait on a busy night."

"Everything we have ever eaten here has always been delicious....its a very cozy little place....and it is DEFINITELY worth the wait "

"I'm so disappointed it took us 6 years of living in the area to find this gem! So good! We had the ribeye and fried seafood platter. Both were delicious but that steak is just something special. Great service, cute location. Bring cash!"

"The best restaurant you'll find in the middle of nowhere. If you get there after 5:45, you'll wait at least an hour to get in. We got there about 7:00 local time and waited for 1 hour 15 minutes, mainly because some other people got tried of waiting and left bumping us up. Although this is a pain, it gives you an indication of how popular the place is. With COVID regulations it is serving 50 percent of the dining space contributing to the longer wait times. But we thought it was worth the wait. My wife got the shrimp and scallops, I got the crab claws. We both had salad and cheese grits for our sides and split the onion rings for an appetizer. The grilled food was better, in my opinion than the fired crab claws. It was truly great tasting grilled seafood, some of the best we'd had. My crab claws were a little small, something they apologized for and was not as good as I had hoped, but still very acceptable and tasty. The onion rings were homemade, crispy, thin and fantastic. One other thing you need to know, they only take cash and checks, so be prepared. Also be prepared to think you are on the wrong road because it will seem that you are headed to l;the middle of the woods. Well you are, but that's where the restaurant is located. Its a unique dining option with great food, so if you are looking for something a little different, this is the place."
